"Executive Excellence: Mastering Self-Management Skills - Advanced Series" offers a deeper dive into the intricacies of executive function skills, aimed at students and young adults who are ready to elevate their cognitive and emotional capabilities. This course builds upon foundational skills and introduces advanced concepts and strategies to enhance personal and academic effectiveness. Course Objectives: To provide an in-depth exploration of advanced executive function skills. To develop higher-level cognitive abilities like strategic planning, creative thinking, and analytical reasoning. To enhance emotional intelligence, resilience, and leadership qualities. To equip students with the tools for handling complex academic and life challenges. Week 1: Strategic Planning Techniques for developing long-term academic and personal strategies, focusing on goal setting and vision creation. Week 2: Advanced Organizational Systems Exploration of sophisticated organizational tools, both digital and traditional, for managing complex tasks and information. Week 3: Prioritization Matrix Understanding and applying various prioritization methods to effectively manage tasks and responsibilities. Week 4: Mindfulness and Focus Incorporating mindfulness practices to enhance concentration, reduce stress, and improve mental clarity. Week 5: Emotional Intelligence Developing skills to recognize, understand, and manage one's own emotions and those of others, fostering empathy and effective communication. Week 6: Resilience Building Strategies and techniques to build resilience, focusing on coping with setbacks and fostering a growth mindset. Week 7: Creative Thinking Encouraging innovative problem-solving approaches, idea generation, and creative thinking exercises. Week 8: Advanced Memory Skills Advanced memory enhancement techniques, including mnemonic devices, visual and spatial memory training. Week 9: Adaptive Thinking Training to think quickly and adaptively, particularly in unexpected or rapidly changing situations. Week 10: Self-Assessment Techniques Methods and tools for self-evaluation, reflection, and personal development planning. Week 11: Intrinsic Motivation Exploring internal drivers of motivation and strategies to cultivate self-motivation for long-term success. Week 12: Handling Academic Pressure Developing coping strategies for dealing with academic stress, time pressures, and high-stakes environments. Week 13: Effective Communication Skills Advanced training in both verbal and non-verbal communication skills for effective interpersonal interactions. Week 14: Time Blocking and Chunking Mastering advanced time management techniques, focusing on maximizing productivity and efficiency. Week 15: Analytical Thinking Enhancing the ability to analyze, synthesize, and interpret complex information for informed decision-making. Week 16: Leadership and Influence Developing leadership skills, including the art of influence, team management, and positive impact strategies. The flexible schedule (Flex Class) allows your learners to watch the pre-recorded videos and do them at a time that is FUN for them! You can also spend extra time on the topics your child is most interested in. Since this is a flex class with no live meetings, students can log in at a convenient time to complete the week's lesson. We will be going through each week as a group and I will post the lesson weekly (depending on which day you started). No experience is required to take this class. Students will be provided with separate videos to watch for each topic. These are outlined below. The videos will contain the information required to give students a good understanding of each topic, and each one will include homework for the students to undertake during the week. Homework assignments will include writing a list of topics, interests, and areas of expertise in which the students might be interested in developing a business. After watching each video and completing the homework assignments, students will be provided with feedback and the specific next steps to make their projects. Timeframe for the Week: Mondays - The teacher will post the information needed for the week. Tuesdays-Wednesday - The teacher can answer any questions pertaining to the topic of the week. The students will need to complete any homework assignments and answer any questions in the class. Thursday - Students need to have all tasks completed and uploaded in the classroom. Friday - The teacher will provide feedback to the class and individual students, students will also be able to engage in peer-to-peer review and be able to discuss how they went about completing the tasks. Saturday - Sunday - Teacher will be available to answer any questions that the students may have for the week or the next week. ▬▬▬▬▬▬ Concessions ▬▬▬▬▬▬ For parents/families who feel their child would benefit from this course, but their budget does not allow for it, I do offer a number of discounts for families of lower income.
