Welcome to The Full Computer Science/Information Technology 8 week course! This class covers a wide range of subjects, including computer building (how to build a custom made computer), computer repairs, computer maintenance, video editing, internet safety and tech scams to watch out for and more. The topics covered in this course are: Week 1. • Computer Components 1 Week 2 • Computer Components 2 Week 3 • Computer Building Part 3 Week 4 • Computer Building Part 1 Week 5 • Computer Building Part 2 Week 6 • Computer Building Part 3 Week 7 • Computer Building Part 4 Week 8 • Computer Building Part 5 Week 9 • Installing an Operating System Week 10 • Intro to AI Week 11 • Automation And Artificial Intelligence Week 12 • Using ChatGPT Week 13 • Hacking Life with ChatGPT AI Week 14 • Internet Safety part 2 Week 15 • Internet Safety part 2 Week 16 • Tech scams to watch out for This class operates on a flexible schedule, allowing students to watch pre-recorded videos and complete assignments at their own pace. There are no live meetings, so students can log in at a time that is convenient for them. Each week, a new lesson will be posted, and the teacher will be available to answer questions and provide feedback. No previous experience is required to participate in this course. Students will be given separate videos to watch for each topic, and homework assignments will be provided to help them deepen their understanding of the material. Feedback will be given on the students' projects, and they will be given specific next steps to take. The class schedule is as follows: Mondays - Teacher posts lesson for the week Tuesdays-Wednesdays - Teacher answers questions and students complete homework assignments Thursdays - Students must have all tasks completed and uploaded Fridays - Teacher provides feedback and students engage in peer review Saturdays-Sundays - Teacher available to answer any remaining questions ▬▬▬▬▬▬ Concessions ▬▬▬▬▬▬ For parents/families who feel their child would benefit from this course, but their budget does not allow for it, I do offer a number of discounts for families of lower income.
