Other Details
Parental Guidance
I will be showing clips of various parts of the play in the video portion of this class. Students will also be directed to watch clips on their own. I will preview each clip and choose the ones that are appropriate for young viewers. Also Shakespeare being Shakespeare, this play was meant for an adult audience and references to sex and violence are present throughout the play. I will inform parents when they need to take extra care.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Sources
I will send a resource list upon enrollment. This list will have online versions of the play as well as links to purchase the play on Amazon. It is highly recommended that students listen as they read. Librivox.org has free version but I suggest finding one in your local library's online catalog or purchasing the play on Audible. Students will be instructed to watch a full length version of the play. I will list where these can be streamed when possible.
