Class Experience
In this flex course students will be able to master foundational Pre-K level reading skills by: - Practicing and blending letter sounds - Writing Letters - Reading and memorizing sight words - Reading Emergent Reader Books -Demonstrating reading comprehension and building vocabulary by listening to a related story read aloud -Making Connections to the World Around Us through related virtual field trips, craft ideas and snacks Lessons will include songs for easy memorizing, worksheets,...
Students will improve their understanding of letter sounds and how to blend them and use various reading strategies to read words.
Certified K-12 Teacher
Learners will be asked to practice flashcards, a six page reader a worksheet each day. All assignments can be completed along with the video. However, I ask that you practice the flashcards and reader with them when you can. Learners will also be asked to post their work in addition to reading videos and video responses to storytelling questions in the classroom.
 3 files available upon enrollmentAll hand-outs will be provided.
Each learner will receive a written assessment at the end of the class.
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
