Pokémon is filled with dragons, and real-world mythology is, too! Let's explore dragons from Europe, Asia, and the Americas. We'll discuss eight types of western dragons, four eastern ones, and two from the mythology of the natives of Central America. With each dragon, we'll discuss which Pokémon may have been inspired by that particular dragon type. This is a self-paced class, which means there is no live component. This course contains three lessons. Each lesson has one recording (each 12-15 minutes long), plus extension activities to expand your learning beyond the recording. The course also includes a final project, where learners are encouraged to create a Pokémon based on a dragon from mythology. Need a discount? Sure thing! All of my self-paced courses are "pay what you can afford." To get the discount you need, sign up for the course first, then message me with the discount you would like, and I will apply a partial refund. This must be done before the end of the first week of class.
