**PLEASE NOTE** This is a SELF-PACED class and is PRE-RECORDED. THIS MEANS STUDENTS WILL WATCH THE PRE-RECORDED VIDEO. There are no live meetings. All interactions between students and the teacher will happen on the class page. This class will be presented via powerpoint. Students will upload images of their assignments for the teacher to see and comment on. This is particularly important if a final grade is required for homeschool or charter school credit. As a licensed art teacher, I have developed techniques for breaking down drawing lessons into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Once we get the basics done, I give my students freedom to complete their project using their own imagination, thereby giving them the opportunity to take what I have taught them to a different, fun and creative level.
White drawing paper or cardstock, pre-cut into 4 equal sized pieces
(NOTE: if student wishes to use watercolor pencils or watercolor paint, watercolor paper is recommended)
Colored construction paper or cardstock
Pencil, eraser, pencil sharpener
Black Sharpie or illustrator's pen
