This five week class will teach your child about Vowel-R Syllables. (Also known as "Bossy R") Each week two videos will be available and include short assignments to reinforce learning. I will be available the entire month to answer any questions your child might have and to provide feedback and encouragement. I will respond to any messages you or your child sends me as quickly as possible, usually the same day. These videos in which I guide your child (and you) through phonics lessons...
5 lessons//5 Weeks

- This five week class will teach your child ER, IR, UR, OR, and AR. By the end of the class, your child should be able to read and spell one syllable Vowel-R words.
I have over 150 hours of Orton Gillingham based training in reading strategies specifically targeted to dyslexic students. (Which are beneficial to all beginning readers.) I have been a dyslexia specialist for twelve years in the public school setting and have privately tutored students for the past fifteen years.

Frequency: includedDetails: I will send home optional assignments for your child to complete that will demonstrate their understanding of Vowel-R Syllables. Parents can send a picture of their child's work for me to check and give feedback.
