FLEX Book Club: Matilda by Roald Dahl

This classic book by Roald Dahl (who also wrote Charlie and the Chocolate Factory among other classics), is a wonderful story for kids of all ages. We will do reading on our own before each class and practice our oral reading skills in class. During class we will discuss key plot points, our favorite parts, and other memorable moments. 
We will be doing the following various activities:

Before meeting 2: read "The reading of Books- Ch 1" through "The Ghost"- Ch 4"
Before meeting 3: read "Arithmetic"- Ch 5" through "The Parents- Ch 9"
Before meeting 4: read "Throwing the Hammer- Ch 10" through "Lavender- Ch 12"
Before meeting 5: read ""The weekly Test- Ch 13" through the end of "Miss Honey's Cottage- Ch 16" 
Before meeting 6: read "Miss Honey's Story- Ch 17" through "A New Home" THE END!
