High School Beginning French
Class Experience
Bonjour! There are so many things to love about the French language! The aesthetic of the language itself and the culture surrounding it are just two of the many things we will learn about the French language in this 8-week class. Each week will involve learning some vocabulary, some grammar, and a bit of French culture. There will be no live meetings, but students will watch videos that I have pre-recorded, as well as submitting work to me.

- Students will improve their knowledge of French vocabulary, grammar, and culture
I have been learning French for 9 years now, from French 1 - French 5 as well as 4 years of immersion French classes. I am conversationally fluent and at a C1 level. I have tutored French immersion from May 2020 through August 2020 when the French immersion school near us closed for quarantine, and I've been teaching French online for two years. I also continue to take French lessons with native speakers, and I am working towards my Bachelors in French, which includes classes in advanced French immersion, French literature, and French education. I attended a 7-week summer French immersion camp through Middlebury College. I also have my certification in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), the principles from which I apply to my French classes.
