Class Experience
This FLEX class will take place over the course of 1 week. Students get access to five step-by-step instructional videos and get to follow along at their own pace! We will draw and paint the following animals: a penguin ice skating, a polar bear ice fishing, a fox snowboarding, a bunny sledding, a moose skiing. Monday: all five instructional videos posted. Tuesday: a discussion question will be posted. Wednesday: each learner will receive a message from the teacher to check in on their progress. Saturday and Sunday: Art Show! Students are invited (NOT REQUIRED) to post their work in the classroom and the teacher will give encouraging and positive feedback on all artwork shared during the art show. Materials recommended for this class: watercolor paper pencil eraser black permanent marker ruler watercolors paint brush water cup paper towels Artists are welcome to use any other materials if they prefer! Each video is about 25-38 minutes long. Many artists may need to pause the video as they follow along. I recommend watching the videos on a computer and utilizing the space bar for quick and easy pausing and starting.

I am an artist native to colorful Colorado. I live with two house rabbits named Lucy and Melville. I absolutely love bunnies and I could talk about them all day! My creative interests include drawing, painting, quilting, embroidery and photography.
I taught in a traditional classroom for 5 years and in an online setting for 6 years. I have experience teaching ages 4-18. I hold a BFA in Photography with emphases in Drawing, Painting, Design, Ceramics and Art History. As a college student, I traveled to Italy and Greece to enrich my study of Art History.
