Out of this wild night, a strange visitor comes to the Murry house and beckons Meg, her brother Charles Wallace, and their friend Calvin O'Keefe on a most dangerous and extraordinary adventure—one that will threaten their lives and our universe." Over the course of four weeks, the teacher will provide relevant background information in relation to the setting of the novel as well as relevant information about the author and genre. Through reading and answering questions in the classroom, we will explore the plot, character development, themes, symbols, and other literary devices. Activities for the class will include: A reading guide each week with comprehension questions and activities A video lesson for each week's chapters Comprehension questions posted in the class for students to answer A weekly comprehension quiz This is a self-paced class where students can work at their own pace. There will be no live meetings.
