Homework
1-2 hours per week. At the end of each class, students will be given 3-5 options for homework. These could be watching a movie, Youtube video, reading an article. or even writing a short (1-2 paragraph) paper. These are to expand on some of the subjects that we touched on during class. Students will work together to create a timeline of U.S. History, as well as a live conversation between different first ladies. Each student will choose a first lady to portray. They will do the back ground research, create a monologue, and participate in a group conversation with the other "first ladies" in the class about the roles and expectations of that position.
