Consistent early childhood education plays an important role in the lives of children. It provides children with consistent routines and unlimited learning opportunities, and provides families with the security of knowing their child is in a safe and nurturing environment. Having your child attend the class or group throughout their early years allows your child to develop relationships with the teacher and other children in that environment, which provides a sense of security. A child who is comfortable with the people in their life is more likely to participate and grow. In 1st Together - part 3 students will have a consistent teacher, schedule and classmates as they learn a variety of subjects that constitute a well balanced first grade experience. Students build on their learning experiences together as they learn variety of subjects. The social aspect of 1st grade is crucially important as students learn to take turns, listen to each other and work together as a group. There will be opportunities for students to grow their social skills in every class. 1st Grade Together part 1, part 2 and part 3 can be taken in any order. They are different topics and do not build on each other but follow a similar formate. Students will get pdf work sheets for each week's lessons in order for the students to interact with the lessons being taught. Students will be able to show and share the results of their work (if they feel comfortable) and be praised and encouraged for their accomplishments. As with all of my classes, this will be a fun, interactive and lively class. Shy students will not be forced to verbally respond or interact but active participation will be encouraged. As a father to an active 6 year old, I know that learning must be fun. The early years of a child’s education is critical not only for their future success but also their enjoyment of learning. I want to start kids off right on this journey. I have a BA in Student Ministry with over a decade experience teaching children. I have over 4 years of experience teaching children on online platforms and pride myself on never letting kids get bored yet always be learning. I previously held credentials through the State of Ohio Department of Education (now expired). I have a passion for helping children succeed.
