US Grade 1
In this class, students will learn first grade math skills. We will start our classes with daily Calendar Where kids will learn the days months and year and then we will warm up with Counting by 2,5,10s. Second part of class will be active learning of topic of the day, such as Addition and subtraction up to 20. Last part of class we will be working on the Printable Worksheets together and also there are extra printable worksheets for parents and kids for resources. We will cover the following 1st grade math topics. -Counting and Number Sense: Counting to 100, number recognition, counting by 1s, 2s, 5s, and 10s, understanding place value. -Addition and Subtraction: Basic addition facts up to 10, adding and subtracting within 20, understanding the concept of addition and subtraction. -Number Patterns: Recognizing and extending patterns, identifying odd and even numbers. -Basic Shapes and Geometry: Identifying shapes. -Time and Calendar: Learn Days of the week and Months of the year. Telling time. -Problem Solving: Solving simple word problems involving addition and subtraction, using manipulatives and visual aids to solve problems.
Learning Goals
Master Skip Counting , Read the Calendar, learn skills that will apply to daily life activities such as grocery shopping.

Supply List
There will be printable worksheets and extra resource packet in the classroom tab. Also white board, dry erase markers or pencil, pen, paper and color pencils and crayons are encouraged for class.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
