Class Experience
This is an Art and Sensory based letter learning class designed to help young learners learn not only the alphabet but also be exposed to new vocabulary. It is designed for both Native and Non native speakers who wish to work on letter/sound activities. Each week learners will learn a new letter/sound and will create a new finger paint design. I am a National Board certified Bilingual teacher with Certifications across multiple states and grade levels. I have taught both virtually and in person since 2002 including grades PK-12. I have taught early learners as an ESL English and Bilingual Reading Teacher to PK- 3rd grade and am trained in early guided reading techniques.
sand, salt sugar, or flour in a small container or plate to draw letters in Pipe cleaners to form letters Finger paint or paint sticks Markers, crayons Class hand out small toy car or similar to drive on the letter
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Children may need assistance with opening/ using finger paint. Napkins and wipes will be helpful to have on hand nearby.
