Class Experience

This is an Art and Sensory based letter learning class designed to help young learners learn not only the alphabet but also be exposed to new vocabulary. It is designed for both Native and Non native speakers who wish to work on letter/sound activities.

Each week learners will learn a new letter/sound and will create a new finger paint design.
During class you can expect learners to be guided through the following activities.
1. An introduction to the letter of the day. Practice the sound and learn a few words that start with this letter.
2. Trace or make the letters using sensory tools, pencil or paper.
3. Mini fingerprint art project based on the letter of the day.

This is an ongoing class meaning learners can join at any time. The class will work through a different letter of the Alphabet each class. You may join anytime.

A printable page for each art project will be provided. I recommend paint sticks because they are less mess and easy for little hands to use to paint. Any type of finger paint will suffice. I will also show learners how to practice making the letter with items like salt, sugar, wiki sticks, pencil or paper.

The sample ongoing Schedule will be as follows. We will follow the Montessori introduction of letters/sounds
Week 1 of Jan 31- Letter S
Week 2 of Feb 7- Letter M
Week 3 of Feb 14- Letter T
Week 4 of Feb 21nd- Letter A
Week 5 of Feb 28th- P
Week 6 of March 7th- F
So on..
