In this one-time, 55 minutes class, characteristics of perspective will be discussed and demonstrated. Then students will be guided to make their own examples of this foundational drawing skill, based on their level of ability.
Class experience
Perspective is like a scaffold for sketching a scene and I will demonstrate One-point perspectives in a manner that will help my students gain confidence in utilizing this sometimes complicated, fundamental skill. Then, students will be guided, step-by-step, to make their own Horizon line, Vanishing point(s) and the Convergent lines. Students will gain knowledge of this extremely important drawing skill that is foundational for growth in acquiring realistic sketches.
1) Blank paper, or sketchbook 2) Ruler is required, or some type of straight edge. 3) Pencil 4) Eraser
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
