Oh no! Rapunzel has just returned home after being locked in a tall tower for many years and now she is lost in her own castle and needs the help of her friends (you) to find her! The students will be working together to find the princess by answering different math questions that include counting objects up to 15 and adding numbers together the equal no more than ten. This class will work on problem solving skills, team work, patience, and respect. This is a fun interactive class where students can pick who their favorite princess is and pretend to be her for the duration of the class. During the escape room every student can answer the question but I will only have one student answer at a time when I call their name that way it doesn't have lots of noise with everyone talking at the same time. Also I ask that there be very little noise in the background as that also adds to feedback coming through each computer. So I ask that you either mute yourselves or talk quietly so there is only one person talking at a time. While one is answer the others can work on the problem on their own and see if they come up with the same answer as the one who I called. They can also draw a picture of a princess as we work through the escape room. Afterwards we will make a paper crown that they can cut out and wear! I'm excited to run this escape room class and am looking forward to having you join me! See you in class!!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi, my name is Tracey Campbell! I am so glad to be here and be part of your child's learning. I have more than 15 years experience in working with children. For the past 4 years I have worked in a school looking after kids ages 4-12 before and after school as well as helping kids one on one with math and English. I believe that every kid matters and that learning should be made fun. As one who learns best through hands on, I teach that way to help the kids remember better and have fun at the same time.
I live in a small town in Ontario, Canada and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. I love going for walks, hanging out with friends, making different craft projects like painting and horseback riding. My desire is to see your child excel in everything they do and to help them along the way!
I'm excited to teach your child!
