What will be taught?
In this class, student will be able to ask the teacher questions and review any material that relates to adding/subtracting fractions and finding the "LCD." Parents do have the option to re-book my class as many time as they like. Each time, I will create different activities that are reinforce multiplying fractions.
What topics will you cover?
Depending on the students' needs, we will meet for 35 minutes per class. Subjects that I am qualified to teach...To ensure effective tutoring, the teacher suggests meeting 2x per week. Book additional recurring meetings after the initial purchase.- Students will learn how to find the Least Common Denominator or LCD when adding and subtracting fractions with unlike denominators.
MA in Childhood Special Education in grades 1st-6th. 10 years of teaching experience in both public schools and online.
Assessment
Frequency: Available upon requestDetails: As we work together, I will monitor my student's understanding of the material being taught. I will ask students questions to ensure my student comprehends the information. I also use games, songs, poems, youtube video clips and a discussion at the end of class.
Learners should only need a pen or pencil, paper and/or laptop computer. If something else is needed, I will message the parents and students.
There will be no inappropriate content in these tutoring sessions. I provide my classes with fun and educational activities, like youtube video clips, stories, games and prizes.
