Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will be able to: 1. Define need, saving, and financial goal. 2. Describe the components of a fable. 3. Identify the characters and story events of the financial fable. 4. Discuss the problem and solution within the fable. 5. Explain the “money moral” and apply it to their everyday life. 6. Define character traits and give examples of traits shown by the birds in the fable.
Mrs. Adamson, founder of Apples2Zippers is a veteran licensed / certified educator with over 20 years experience in the classroom, a travel agent, an entrepreneur, and has a passion for teaching and learning. She currently holds certifications in Business Education, Family and Consumer Sciences, Special Education and TEFL/TESL/TESOL. Degrees: BA degree in Radiology Health Management, MSE in Business Education & Technology, MSE Special Education - Instructional Specialist and Ed.S. in Education Leadership and a graduate of the Arkansas Career and Technical Leadership Academy, which focuses on careers that are categorized as "High Wage, High Skill and High Demand." - college readiness. Mrs. Adamson has attended an extensive teacher education workshop at The New York Stock Exchange - Teacher Education Program on Wall St. at the New York Stock Exchange, New York, NY.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Optional: Students may request verbal teacher feedback on completion of this course. (finished or in-progress) during each class session. Please send requests for feedback through a private message in the Outschool classroom.

Students will receive fun engaging handouts and activities sheets before the class begins, a parent will need to assist the students to make they have them printed out. Students will need to print out the worksheets, in order to follow along with the lesson during class. Prior Knowledge: Students should be able to identify money in coin and paper forms and their value.
