In this seven-week course, learners will develop critical thinking skills and writing techniques as we analyze the Outer Banks series and look at various film principles like character development, genre narratives, and camera angles. We will be watching all three seasons of Outer Banks, learning about film principles, and discussing each season. Individual Objectives - Students will reflect and react to specific moments in the Outer Banks series, learning to articulate opinions and thoughts about - film techniques. - Students will practice their writing skills by writing paragraph reviews after each season. Students will participle in class discussions analyzing specific principles in the show.

I have been teaching film studies classes for the last three years and love watching and analyzing films myself. I have a Master's degree in Strategic Communication. As my capstone project, I analyzed Outer Banks' season 3 marketing strategy and how it gets fans to watch the show. I love TV and movies and looking into the deeper analysis of the story and structure.
