Mistria, an idyllic village tucked between forest and sea, has offered you an overgrown but full-of-potential homestead in exchange for your assistance. Restore the town to its former glory after an earthquake wreaks havoc and strange magic begins to flow through the land. In class, we will learn how to navigate in the world of Mistria and understand the many mechanics featured in gameplay. Kids aged 12-17 who love adventure, creativity, and making new friends are welcome to join our Fields of Mistria Social Club. No prior experience with the game is necessary—beginners and experienced players alike will find joy and camaraderie here. ⚡Class Objectives: Adventure Awaits: Embark on thrilling quests, mine for precious gems, and discover hidden treasures in the vast world of Mistria. Creative Expression: Customize your character and farm with unique designs, showcasing your creativity and personal style. Interpersonal Understanding: Students will not only get to navigate social situations with the many residents of Mistria, but also with other students in class as we build a community of our own. Financial Literacy: Fields of Mistria has an in-game economy that teaches children the value of money, budgeting, and resource management. They will learn to earn in-game currency, make wise purchasing decisions, and understand the concept of saving and investing. 🥳 Small Class Sizes: Our smaller class sizes guarantee quality attention given to each individual! Rather than getting lost inside a giant class or being isolated inside a Zoom breakout room, our teachers play along on their screens and get to know every individual, and learners are given a chance to form true bonds of friendship. 📝 Class Requirements & Supply List: - Fields of Mistria video game, downloaded and ready to play - A PC to play on ⌨️ Gamer Tags: NO sharing of gamer tags or friend codes is required for this class, as Fields of Mistria is a single player game. Learners will play their games adjacent others as they enjoy and discuss the game together.
Learning Goals
Our goal in all of our classes is to give students, especially neurodiverse students, a safe place to play video games online. We also hope that they will make great friends who share their interests and passions.

All of our teachers have experience working with students who have unique learning needs. We want and welcome all students in our classroom. Our number one goal is to help all children feel like they have a place with their fellow gamers.
Parental Guidance
NO sharing of gamer tags or friend codes is required for this class, as Fields of Mistria is a single player game. Learners will play their games adjacent others as they enjoy and discuss the game together.

Our goal as a gaming universe is to have a safe space where all kids can come and game online together.
🩵 All kids are welcome to our classes where we provide a safe place to play video games online. We also hope that they will make great friends who share their interests and passions.
⚡ All our teachers are gamers to the core! After a lifetime of gaming, our teachers come to us with experience in a myriad of games across multiple platforms. This means that whatever game your learner is playing, we have an expert teacher who knows exactly what they're talking about and can connect with your learner at any skill level.
🌐 Each Video Game Universe teacher offers a unique perspective, talent, educational background, and skill set to ensure we meet the needs of all learners. All our teachers have experience working with neurodivergent students, and some have even taught in a traditional classroom for many years. We are passionate about teaching kids and video games!
