Class experience
In this one time class, your student will learn how to draw a croquis which is a cornerstone skill in becoming a fashion designer. A croquis is a silhouette of a person/ model which is the first part of fashion sketching. On top of a croquis is then where fashion designers draw their fashion design of an outfit with adding different styles of drawing to create layers, texture, colors, and patterns. We will focus on creating a croquis in this class which will help your student gain...
To learn how to draw a croquis, a skill that will help your student gain confidence in fashion sketching and is a cornerstone to fashion designing.
Why me? I have loved fashion since I was very young. One of my designs was even sold in London. I have over 40 years experience in fashion designing/ sketching. My Nan, mum, sister, and daughters have all been involved in being very creative. You could say that sewing is in my blood and threaded through my veins. I love encouraging students to love fashion, to think for themselves, and be creative.

We will watch a YouTube video, and I will share it in the classroom for students to practice drawing a croquis. They do not need to have a YouTube account. This is optional to look at/ review with after class.
