In this ongoing fashion design class, fashion designers are presented with a new challenge each week and will problem-solve together through brainstorming, sketching, and a lot of creativity!
Class Experience
US Grade 5 - 8
Each week, learners will be presented with a new design challenge followed by a short series of images to spark ideas and provide inspiration to solve our design challenge. The images are not fashion-related! We will learn how to use inspiration from the world around us in an artistic and creative way (think Project Runway group challenge, but with paper and pencils instead of fabric and sewing machines!) This class will teach creative problem-solving skills in a fun, interactive environment....
- Students will learn creative problem-solving skills, how to work in a team, and how to think like a fashion designer (or any creative!)
- New York-based Fashion Designer for nearly 15 years - Graduated summa cum laude from Philadelphia University with a BS in Fashion Design - Adjunct Professor of Fashion Studies - Professional experience in Art, Design, Merchandising, Sales, Production, and Marketing
