For 20 years I have built up a reputation as one of the best fantasy photographers in the world. Using theatrical effects, practical props, and non-standard lighting methods, for the first time I'll be teaching you my secrets to creating amazing magical portraits. I'll take you step by step through the methods that I have used over the years. This will include: * Inspiration and influence * Portrait lighting using simple household items. * Posing your model * Wizard portraits, costumes, and weird lights. * Light painting and camera tricks. * End Q&A I will be using examples of portraits that I have shot over the years, breaking them down, and showing the props and techniques used for each shot. Questions will be answered by the students at the end of each segment. Learners do not need to know the technical details of how cameras work, but for those that do understand photography, this class will also be useful, as it goes into the details of the practical side of setting up fantasy photoshoots. I have been a fantasy portrait photographer for 20 years. Having run three successful studios, and shot thousands of customers. Clients have also included Hollywood actors, celebrities, and Sci-fi stars. Most notably being Tom Baker (Doctor Who) official portrait photographer, for 10 years.

Learners do not need to bring a camera to the lesson, but can do so if they have questions regarding settings or how they might apply the lesson to the equipment they own. This lesson will be a techniques lecture that students can use for themselves. If this lesson proves popular, a group will be formed to share work.

I will be giving students an amazing live-action fantasy interactive role-playing adventure. Each Quest will involve talking to creatures and characters such as wizards, goblins, witches, and elves. The students will need to work together, communicate, solve problems, and cast spells.
As well as this, I'll be teaching in other classes, how to take amazing portraits using theatre and budget techniques.
