Beginner Level
This is an introductory/review course where learners will discover the amazing world of fungi. Learning how mushrooms grow and hear stories about their past. We'll learn about jobs like cleaning up the environment, small scale farming, and even get tips on cooking tasty mushrooms. We’ll have cool pictures, and plenty of time to ask questions. 
Course material will use a combination of lecture and Google slides to teach the material with opportunities for all students to interact and share questions. No prior experience or knowledge is required, just an interest in learning about mushrooms!

Learning Goals

Students will explore mushroom life cycles, history, and facts. Learn potential careers (photography, small scale farming, mycoremediation), and be able to apply new cooking tips for a flavorful mushroom experience!

No materials will be needed for this introductory class. However, a notebook and pencil are always handy for jotting down notes.
