In this live, one-time unicorn adventure class, we will read a fun Fancy Nancy book & dance to some fun unicorn music! We will begin with simple introductions that will include our show-and-tell! If the learners want to do a unicorn show-and-tell to fit our theme, that is great! If not, the learners will still be allowed to show us one show-and-tell item! Following intros and show-and-tell, we will read "Fancy Nancy and the Quest for the Unicorn" by Jane O'Connor. After reading our book, we will stand up and begin learning a fun upbeat dance to some unicorn music. After class notes will include fun Unicorn activities, coloring sheets, and a breakdown with music of our dance we learned together!

Parental Guidance
With any dancing or movement, there is risk of injury. To prevent injury, please prepare your learner with appropriate space to dance, proper attire (comfortable clothing), and a water bottle. If there are any restrictions or health concerns that may limit the learner, please notify me prior to class time!

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I teach Movement classes in studio and online as well! I have been teaching dance for 15+ years to all ages (18months - adult) as well as Fitness classes to kids and adults. Dance has been a major part of my life for 32 years and I love bringing that passion to others. I've worked with young and old, special needs, low-impact or injured, wheel-chair bound, and all others!
I believe that Dance/Movement is a rare "sport" that is all-inclusive; gross and fine motor skills, spatial awareness, emotionally stimulating, builds self-confidence, improves discipline & listening skills, and much more.
My family consists of my super supportive husband, my oldest daughter (8) youngest daughter (6), and then the littlest one is 3years old, but he was born 3-1/2 months early. We spent a significant amount of time in the NICU in the city we live in and are forever grateful for modern medicine! Our life has been a rollercoaster and, as crazy as this sounds, I wouldn't have it any other way... mostly. haha!
Being a mama myself, I try to be flexible with my schedule and appreciate the understanding from parents as I navigate our medically complex son's needs as well as two active girls!
