The students will listen to "Fancy Nancy" story and then we will make a craft related to the story of the week.. We will stop throughout the story to discuss questions and predict what will happen in the story. The teacher will lead the students step-by-step through the craft. Students will get to: * Enjoy a fun story * Practice good listening skills * Interact with me and other kids throughout story by answering questions about the story * Have fun making a craft related to the story * Show off their finished craft to their friends * Make new friends
Learning Goals
Students will get to practice their listening skills and practice comprehension of a story. They will also get work on taking turns in answering questions. Students will practice their social skills as they communicate with the teacher and other students. Students will also practice following directions as they do a craft together with their classmates.
