Class Experience

Benjamin Franklin has so many talents! Where do we begin? In this one-time, 35 minute class, learners will explore Ben Franklin’s early life, his love of learning, and his endless curiosity! We will cover five of Benjamin Franklin’s inventions, including one that he created when he was only 11 years old. I will provide a Canva presentation that will include interesting facts, pictures, and a short video. Students are encouraged to share their thoughts through guided discussion.  At the end of...

Students will be able to recall and state facts about four of the inventions and life of Benjamin Franklin.

  1 file available upon enrollment
Students will need a pencil, class printables, and markers or crayons.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Informal observation of the students during the review portion of the lesson.

35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
