Class Experience

US Grade 6 - 8
Beginner Level
Welcome to the book club! I love reading classic stories and wanted to share my love of reading with students.

This will be a class with a lot of discussion. I am a homeschooling mom to 3 out of my 4 children. We are very much a Charlotte Mason style homeschooling family and we have learned so much through reading and discovering.

This will be a 14-week class where we will be reading "Little Women" that is found in the public domain. Learners will need to read ahead of time and spend the class discussing what we learned. Comprehension questions will be provided.

If a learner needs to have something for transcripts or credit, please let me know as I can create worksheets for them to fill out. It will also allow them to have work shown so an evaluator or other person who needs to see it will have that available. A spring semester will also be available.

Each book will vary in length. This semester's book is "Little Women" which will take the whole semester to read through.

Here is the link to the book we will be reading together: https://www.gutenberg.org/cache/epub/37106/pg37106-images.html Learners may also obtain their own copy of the book from other places like Amazon, Target, etc... It will need to be the unabridged version.

Here are the weeks we plan on meeting. I will have a couple of dates/times available. We will be off for Thanksgiving break.
