Building confidence is key to any foreign language, and that is what I will be doing through this class. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fairytales & Stories in Italian is a series of classes that include learning vocabulary, short conversation questions and answers, as well as a story. Classes can be taken consecutively or not. We review regularly and learned some questions/answers in Italian to do with the story. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Class 1: We will learn 8 parts of a castle (moat, tower, drawbridge, etc.) and be given a diagram pdf for homework to fill in with the terms and we will go over a Cinderella word search (in Italian) that includes 12 vocabulary words. Class 2-3: Students will learn about 30 vocabulary words to do with the Cinderella story and be given flashcards. Class 4-5: We will read through 23 slides of the story of Cinderella (these are in the form of flashcards which will be added to the classroom). By reading this, we will gain more confidence in Italian as well as learn new vocabulary. Class 6: We will go over 18 words from the Cinderella story which will be included on a 1-page pdf print off. Class 7: Review. If time permits, we will read through a different PowerPoint that goes through the Cinderella story but has some different words to broaden our vocabulary choices. ---------------------------------------------------- *Each time, we will review some from the last lesson. *Homework each week will be to review the new vocabulary and questions and how to answer them. *Students will be given a PDF, PowerPoint, or crafts each class for the vocabulary learned. *Schedule is subject to change. ----------------------------------------------------- I will have more Italian classes coming soon! *Also you can request a new time if you need a different time slot.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree from North Carolina State University
In high school, I was only offered Spanish. I believe that taking foreign language classes opens the doors to many opportunities. My love for languages has continued to grow and at university, I took Italian up to Intermediate Italian. I now give students the opportunity to learn a language that they are interested in and make learning fun.
