In "Fairytales Unlocked: Reading and Comprehension Practice," students will embark on a captivating journey into the world of fairytales, where they will enhance their reading comprehension skills while delving into the enchanting narratives of classic tales. What will be taught? Fairy Tales unlocked is an engaging, interactive, and student-centered course that encourages critical thinking and active participation through guided questioning and collaborative activities. Reading comprehension strategies tailored for fairytales. Analyzing and interpreting evidence from the text. Exploring the significance of illustrations and visuals in comprehension. Conducting character analysis to deepen understanding Utilizing a combination of storytelling, guided reading exercises, and interactive discussions we will incorporate multimedia resources such as video clips and digital presentations to enhance engagement. This Class is ideal for students ready on a 2nd or 3rd grade reading level that need extra support to understand the critical thinking and strategies to help them continue to grow into confident and excited readers. Learning will have ample opportunity for interaction, both with the instructor and their peers. Activities include: - Interactive Lectures to introduce concepts -Group discussions to analyze texts and share insights -Games and activities to reinforce learning -Visual aids such as slide and video clips to stimulate discussion and comprehension

Hi,
I'm Ms. C! My primary goal is to make learning both fun and easy for learners and parents.
Before joining the Outschool community, I had the opportunity to teach students in grades K-6 in the classroom and most recently have worked with teachers and administration to provide support in developing math curriculum and classrooms environments, as a network Math Coach.
I have a B.A Sociology with a concentration in Child and Family Studies, along with 10+years teaching in the classroom.
I look forward to providing you with content that brings the joy and excitement back to learning.
