Class Experience

In this on-going interactive storytime learners will have a "girly" book read to them about princesses, mermaids, rainbows, unicorns, etc. Your child will learn about the parts of the book, as well as other pre-reading skills such as concepts of print (words are read from left to right and top to bottom, and understanding words represent a spoken word to convey a message), and language skills (answering simple questions about the story, retelling the story in their own words, and describing characters and settings).

Every week after our story, learners will create a simple craft along with me. Some of the crafts will require parent supervision, and possibly help with the craft like cutting. Within 24 hours after taking the class I will post supplies and an example of the craft for the next week. Feel free to switch out supplies as needed.
