For young children, STEAM means making observations, finding patterns, investigating, making and using tools, and solving problems in a fun and creative way. In this class, through interactive games and hands-on projects, we will work together on all the STEAM skills we need. Each week we will use these skills to problem solve, experiment, and complete a fun project together. Week One - We will read about the Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf and make houses to keep them safe. Week Two - We will read about the Three Billy Goats Gruff and make a raft that can carry them safely past the troll bridge. Week Three - We will read about the Gingerbread Man and build a trap to catch him for the little old woman.

I was lucky enough to homeschool my three wonderful children from kindergarten until they went to college. I’ve taught in private schools, tutorials, and I’ve been a reading interventionist, and preschool director. Most recently I’ve been tutoring and teaching classes online and working as a vision therapist.
