In this class we are going to explore the rainbow. What makes a rainbow appear in the sky? Why do we only see one after it has rained? What colors make up a rainbow? Your learner will be able to answer these questions with basic knowledge of the rainbow by the end of our class. We will have fun, put our brains to work, and get creative with painting/drawing. I love to have the learners be interactive and engaged, so I hope they are ready to have fun. After we learn about the rainbow we are going to create our own. Your learner will need paper and paints/marker/crayons/colored pencils. The colors needed are Red, Orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. If you choose paint a larger and small paint brush is best.

This class with increase their knowledge about rainbows, reinforce colors, and work on fine motor skills.

Supply List

Hi! Welcome and thank you for showing interest in my classes. My name is Courtney Tomlinson. I hold an Associates Degree is Early Childhood Education. I worked as an Early Head Start teacher for 5 1/2 years. After that, I have been home with my babies and homeschooling Kindergarten. I’m mama to my 5-year-old daughter and my 2-year-old son.
