This one time class will explore the parts and function of the human heart while learners create an interactive paper model of the heart. The model can be used a resource in the future. How is the class structured? The class will start with a brief introduction time and ice breakers. Then we will work on assembling the paper model and going over the material. At the end of class, we will play a Kahoot game to apply what we learned. A Kahoot account is not required for this class. What is required? This class requires some before class prep work. Learners will need the following materials: Supplied PDF Markers, crayons, or colored pencils Scissors Glue

Parent guidance may be necessary due to the use of scissors.
Parent guidance is also required for the use of the 3rd party resource, Kahoot. A Kahoot account is not required. The Kahoot link will be shared in class.
