In this four day course, students will visit different Disney characters AROUND THE WORLD to build a foundation for geography skills like identifying the oceans and continents, as well as reading a map.

In this four day course, students will take a trip around the world to meet some of their favorite Disney characters! We will visit Moana, Elsa, Rapunzel, Tiana, and MORE! Through this class students will learn about the oceans and continents that cover our planet Earth. Students will also learn some basic map skills to help them navigate to their Disney friends around the world. Class Schedule Goes as Follows: (00:00-00:05) Class Welcome and Introductions Class Behavior Expectations and Rules (00:08-00:15) Introduction of New Topic Review of Previous Topics (00:15-00:25) Visiting Disney Characters to Identify Their Geographic Location (00:25-00:35) Students Work Individually to Complete Class Assignment Casual Classroom Conversation (00:35-00:45) Students Can Share their Assignments Teacher Review of Class Topic(s) Class Goodbyes

Supply List
There will be worksheets or a booklet aligned with each class that can be sent and printed prior to each class starting. Students will be expected to have this printed before class. Writing and color materials will also be needed for this class.

I love helping students develop a love of writing, delve into their curiosity of the world around them through science, and explore the magic of beloved fantasy worlds like Disney and Harry Potter. I have my advanced teaching license for Elementary Education as well as English as a Second Language. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2013. I then received my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from the world renowned Johns Hopkins University in 2015 I live outside of Baltimore, Maryland with my husband and little kitten. I love to sing, smile, and make children laugh.
Ever since I was a little kid I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I love learning even now as an adult, and there is nothing better than helping students learn and share my passion for education.
