Welcome to Southern Africa Class. We will explore the fascinating and beautiful Countries found in this region and people. From the Indigenous people of Southern Africa, to the click sounding languages and famous people like Nelson Mandela and Trevoh Noah. Did you know you can swim the sharks in the southern tip of Africa? Southern African has great music and civilizations that had vast knowledge of nature and astronomy. The class will explore animals in Kruger National Park and transverse one of the 2 deserts- including the oldest desert in the world. Other Topics Include: Capital Cities Flags Currencies History including apartheid Geography Animals And More. Some of the countries include South Africa, Lesotho, The Kingdom of Eswatini, Botswana and others.
Learning Goals
The goal of this class is to share my heritage with the world. Southern Africa is beautiful, rich in history and has amazing people. You do not want to miss it.

Apartheid and Colonization will be discussed in this class.
