Informal Assessment: Observation of Art piece.Class Experience
There will be a brief presentation on Impressionism Art. Students will learn about the featured Artist: Van Gogh. The students will learn about Van Gogh’s life. There will be a directed drawing on Van Gogh’s Sun Flowers. The teacher will model the drawing step by step. Students will be given an opportunity to make comments and ask questions as well. Students will be encouraged to share their drawing. No prior drawing skills or knowledge are needed. If this class interests your learner please sign up for the class. Learning Goals
Student will understand the period of Impressionism Art. Students will learn about Van Gogh. Students will be able to recognize art in style of Impressionism. Students will create a Van Gogh Sunflower piece.

Supply List
White paper, pencil, eraser, pencil sharpener. Something to color with such as crayons, colored pencils or markers.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
