Class Experience

Book one in Rick Riordan's Kane Chronicles series, "The Red Pyramid", follows two siblings as they travel the globe to save their father from the Egyptian god Set. In their travels, the brother and sister duo discover their family's link to a secret order of magicians that has existed since the time of the pharaohs. The class will use this book as inspiration to explore Egyptian pyramids, learn about hieroglyphics, be introduced to ancient Egyptian gods and goddesses, conduct in depth map readings and discuss the fascinating culture which first invented scissors, wigs and much more!
