Join Teacher Alicia on a 30-minute adventure as we explore the world of sloths! During this class we will have an age-appropriate discussion about various sloth facts. Learners are encouraged to participate, but if they prefer to just listen and absorb information, that is perfectly fine! With a presentation that includes a slide show and video, learners learn facts, work on provided worksheets, and discuss what they may already know. Your learner is invited to bring a favorite sloth toy to share during class. Activity worksheets are included. If your learner enjoys this class, check out my ongoing Animal Investigators class to exercise critical thinking skills while learning about a new animal each week!

Hello! I am excited to meet you! I am an enthusiastic teacher and believe learning should be fun. Learning is enhanced for a child when it is presented in a context made relative to their interests.
I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences. I have taught children for over 15 years. My background includes teaching EFL online to learners aged 4-16 as well as teaching preschool.
I live near Seattle, Washington with my husband and two children. We also have a Siberian Husky, two tuxedo cats, two ferrets, a leopard gecko and a crested gecko.
