Learn useful skills that can be applied in your future schooling and even in your future career!
Week 1 (2 classes): A student will learn the concept of columns, rows, cells, ranges, as well as simple formatting, such as Paint Brush, Fill Color, resizing columns and rows. The home assignment will require to find cells and ranges and paint them. Our main theme will be a chessboard. During the second class, we will review homework, answer questions, and collaborate on a new fun project.
Week 2 (2 classes): A student will learn how to create a more complex table and enter data into it. We will study how to format titles, numbers, and words within a table and how to recognize patterns. Our main theme will be animals. The home assignment will require to organize provided data into a table and format it.
Week 3 (2 classes): During the last week we will learn how to add, multiply, and divide in Excel. We will also learn how to copy and paste numbers and formulas, use Find and Replace function and simple filters. Our main theme will be "Travel Planning". During the last lesson, we will do more exercises and review all the topics that we have learned during this course.
Learning Goals
By the end of the course, the student should be able to create a table and perform simple calculations in Excel. He will also know how to do simple formatting, add filters and formulas.

Parental Guidance
No parental supervision is required. However, it is expected that students will be equipped with Microsoft Excel (latest version is preferred). It would be best if the students started class with Excel launched and ready for use.
