Students will learn Uzbek dance "Peacock" and learn interesting facts about the bird. This style is one of my favorite dances. I can listen to this music and dance to it all day. I will be happy to share this joy with curious students.
Class experience
First we will look at the Asian map and find Uzbekistan, we will learn about Uzbek culture through the dance. Students will also learn interesting facts about peacocks: this bird has a significant place in many cultures and mythology; peacocks are considered to be representations of humility and kindness. In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Kids would need some room to move safely. They should wear comfortable clothing for exercise and non slip sock or comfortable shoes. Water bottle for small water break would be nice to have prepared.
