includedClass Experience
Stephen Spielberg is a seasoned film maker with a career spanning more than forty years. In 1982 he directed E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial which at the time, this movie surpassed Star Wars in profits from the box office. It is my pleasure to offer this class on Outschool. All learners should view the film before attending class. We will not be going over a worksheet. This will be a discussion-based class. In our discussions we should mention what we liked about each film, what we didn’t like, who are favorite characters are, how each character felt throughout the film, how characters have changed at the end of the films, etc. We will take turns sharing our favorite and least favorite parts of the movie and then I will break the movies down scene for scene. I use this exact same method in my Star Wars Film Studies, Spider-Man Film Studies, and Pirates of the Caribbean Film Studies courses which I also offer here on Outschool.
Learning Goals
Students will be invited to join this class and participate in as much of the in-class discussions as possible.
