US Grade 4 - 5
Develop solid math skills aligned with 4th and 5th-grade standards. Lessons are designed to help learners build and retain their knowledge of math concepts throughout the school year. Each lesson begins with a fun number sense activity and fact family practice, followed by skill practice. We'll review essential 4th-grade skills in our first few lessons and progress through more advanced 5th-grade concepts as learners are comfortable. Skill practice includes problems using the four basic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) with whole numbers, decimals, and fractions. Additionally, we'll cover geometry, measurement, and multi-step word problems. Hello! My name is Robin. I have a Master's degree in Elementary Education (Math/Science Emphasis) and hold a K-6 Teaching Certificate in the state of Florida. After over 20 years in the classroom, and with a renewed joy of teaching, I have been teaching online for the last 6 years! Throughout the years, I have taught learners from 2nd - 11th grade, but 3rd-6th grades are where my heart is. My goal is to build confidence, making learning more enjoyable and less frustrating for all!
