STUDENTS WILL: Write a 5 paragraph essay about a favorite place, with each day focusing on:

🖋️DAY 5: Revision of essay: add dialogue, transitions and action verbs.

Lesson 1:
Day 1: Descriptive Paragraph
 Students will be: introduced to descriptive paragraphs, create a Mind Map, write a descriptive paragraph, share with peers, and give feedback.

Day 2: Chronological Paragraph
 Students will be: introduced to chronological paragraphs, create a timeline graphic organizer, write a chronological paragraph, share with peers, and give feedback.

Day 3: Comparison Paragraph
 Students will be: introduced to comparison paragraphs, use a Venn Diagram for comparisons, write a comparison paragraph, share with peers, and give feedback.

 Students will be: introduced to cause/effect paragraphs, create a cause/effect thinking chart, write a cause/effect paragraph, share with peers, and give feedback.

Other Details

Parental Guidance
I will be using Google Classroom with Google Docs and Google Slides to teach this class. There may be Google Forms used as well. They will need to be able to log in to a Google account, so they can work with the slides (digital worksheets).
Pre-Requisites
It would be helpful if students took my Perfect Paragraph Camp before this one. Students also must be mostly fluent in English, as they will need to be able to understand, read and write in English.
Supply List
Students will need a sheet of paper and pen or pencil for the first day as we will be creating a mind map.
