Now that you have learned the foundations of the Spanish language, it is time to take it to the next level. In this course, students will build upon what they already know about the Spanish Language and culture. Students will learn how to form sentences from scratch by conjugating verbs, and using noun-adjective agreement. Students will learn how the Spanish language compares to the English language, and tips to help them remember vocabulary, grammatical rules, and phrases. It is my goal to make learning Spanish fun and exciting for the students, so we will implement games when appropriate to assist in learning. Worksheets, vocabulary lists, and other class materials will be provided by the teacher throughout the course. Students will learn by interacting with each other and the teacher as much as possible in the Spanish language. The teacher will speak in both English and Spanish throughout the class, increasing in Spanish instruction as the course progresses. By the end of this course, students will be able to have a simple conversations completely in Spanish, they will be able to conjugate verbs, and increase in their reading comprehension I will be using a workbook to guide us, but most materials will be made and provided by the teacher. Since this class meets once a week, Students will be responsible for practicing and studying their lessons between classes. Vocabulary is very important, so students will be expected to practicing their vocabulary lists given throughout the semester. The following class schedule is tentative, and subject to change if deemed necessary by the teacher: Lesson 1: Repaso, La casa, y los adjectivos (Review, The Home, and adjectives) Lesson 2: Adjectivos y descripciones (adjectives and descriptions) Lesson 3: La comida (The food) Lesson 4: El tiempo (the weather) y Los estaciones (the seasons) Lesson 5: los verbos (verbs) los pronombres (pronouns) Lesson 6: presente (present tense) AR verbs Lesson 7: Presente AR, ER, and IR verbs Lesson 8 El Futuro (the future tense) intro de proyecto final (final project intro) Lesson 9: Condiciónal (conditional tense and more about final project) Lesson 10: presentaciónes (presentations) *Please Message me for inquiries about private lessons.
Learning Goals
Students will build upon the basics of the Spanish language, which they have already learned. They will be introduced to grammatical rules and concepts, and they will practice reading, writing, listening, and speaking in Spanish.

Paper and Pencil for note taking (recommended). Vocabulary lists will be provided by the teacher. Any other work materials will be provided by the teacher.
