US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 2
Beginner Level
Our class is designed for beginner students to learn about weather and seasons while enhancing their English language skills. Students will build vocabulary, improve reading comprehension, and practice writing, listening, and speaking. They will learn to describe the different seasons and weather conditions, using new vocabulary and sentence structures.

⭐ Topics Covered:

1. Vocabulary and Language: Students will learn key words related to the seasons—spring, summer, fall, winter—and terms for describing weather conditions like hot, cold, warm, and cool. They'll also use sentence frames such as "It is ___" and "My favorite season is ___" to form sentences.

2. Reading: We will read two engaging stories, "Mr. Wind and Little Seed" and "What Is It?" to explore themes of nature and weather. Through these stories, students will develop skills in decoding text and identifying key details.

3. Writing: Students will practice writing by expressing their thoughts about their favorite season and describing things they might see in different weather conditions, like in the fog.

4. Listening and Speaking: Interactive discussions and video activities will help students improve their listening and speaking skills, as they talk about the seasons and answer questions like "What season is it?" and "What's your favorite season?"

⭐ Class Structure:

1. Phonics Practice: Focus on the target consonant sound with listening, chanting, and repetition.
2. Story Reading and Comprehension: Read a story aloud and discuss key details with questions.
3. Vocabulary Building: Introduce new words and practice using them in sentences.
4. Interactive Activities: Engage in drawing, writing, or role-playing related to the story.
