'ESL: Storytelling' (Ages 8-12) is a class intended to help you child grow in their spoken English and expand their vocabulary, while having fun doing it! Each class will be split into vocabulary learning time and story-making time. In the vocabulary learning time, we will look at an image or a set of images that we will use as a foundation to tell create a story together. The image will come with a vocabulary set, which will help learners to be able to describe the situation in the picture, and the developing story. Then, students will each take turn giving another event in the story. Together, we will all make a story by combining our ideas together. This can be an effective class to help your children to break out of self-consciousness while speaking, and instead, to engage in a creative fun activity that will help motivate them to get out of their shell, and have fun while speaking English.
