Class Experience

Beginner to intermediate English language learners will practice listening and speaking skills to improve their English conversation skills. Each class will start with a time of greeting, then go into a discussion topic for the week. Students will then learn vocabulary needed for a topic and then practice conversation skills on that topic.  The topics are as follows. 

1. Greeting people - Students learn expressions for greeting or leaving somehow and practice the phrases that they've learned.
2. Family - Students learn the words for family members and have a conversation about how is in their family. 
3. Neighborhood - Student learn the places in a neighborhood and learn how to discuss locations
4. Food - Students learn about different foods, how to order food and talk about food that they like.
5. Shopping - Students learn vocabulary for different types of clothes and have a conversation about what they like to wear and where they like to shop.
6. Hobbies - Students talk about different types of hobbies, practice inviting someone to enjoy in that hobby and have a conversation about the things that they like to do. 
7. Entertainment - Students learn about different types of music and movies, practice stating preferences and have a conversation talking about the movies and music they like. 
8. School - Students learn important school words, practice asking for help and have a conversation about their fears and excitements for the upcoming school year.
