Class Experience

Learners will
>Decode hidden messages through word scramble
>Utilize memorization skills while making observations
>Locate a secret word in a short text
>Illustrate using a drawing tool
No homework will be assigned for this class.
Please provide paper and pencil if your child wishes to take notes while solving each task of the escape challenge.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
  • Nearpod
An informal assessment will be given. This informal assessment will be given by the instructor asking the learner various questions while completing each task to move forward with the escape challenge.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This digital escape room is inspired by true events that took place in Ancient Egypt. The following topics will be discussed lightly throughout the escape challenge: the mummification process and its importance.  Learners will be guided from lock to lock. In the end, they will successfully escape King Tut's tomb.
